- Peel the gold sticker from the front of your box. The fruiting aperture is sealed by the sticker alone. Now it’s ready to go!

2. Remove the magnetic dome and mist the interior of the system several times daily.
This brief removal supplies the fresh air exchange required to prevent CO₂ buildup and maintain healthy mycelial respiration.
After misting, replace the dome to restore humidity and stabilize the microenvironment.
3. When the mushroom has grown large enough to contact the sides of the dome, you can remove the dome entirely.
At this stage, the developing fruitbody maintains its own stable microclimate and no longer requires a covered environment.
As long as the system is not exposed to direct airflow (fans, vents, drafts), it will continue to mature normally.
Your mushrooms are ready for harvest when they look good enough to eat! Simply grab the cluster from the base nearest the box and twist and pull. Or grab a knife and cut along the box. Some of the box may come off on your mushroom; this is normal. Simply remove before cooking.
Remove and leftover mushroom tissue from the hole in the box and repeat the steps above for subsequent harvests. Expect one or two more. Afterwards discard the contents into your compost.
